Design can be a broad genre, so I've explained my focus areas below. To skip around, use the links above.
Web Design
This one is pretty obvious. My work in web design ranges from simple site review and recommendations, to creation or complete overhaul of a web site.
Though "making sites pretty" fits here, the more important work often is the analysis and implementation of your user's goals and needs.
Application Design
In my case, application design is smoothly integrating new or upgraded features into an already existing system. This refers to web sites, IT applications, or business systems.
Other Design Work
My alternative work often refers to tangible objects, e.g. inventing new or alternative uses for everyday items, or "mashing-up" multiple things to create something else.
