Pricing Information for Site Development

Because all projects are different, pricing, of course, will vary according to your needs. So unfortunately there really can't be any defined numbers here. I can, however, promise you a few things at this point.
I will be honest with you. It does neither of us any good for me to tell you what you want to hear. My role is to tell you what you need to hear. I also should be competitive in pricing. My strengths are in design, and consultation. I am good with programming, but for me and you, oftentimes this isn't the best use of my time. To solve this I have two teams of programmers, located in India and China, that have given me a great track record when it comes to basic programming skills. Because of this, I am able to be more competitive in pricing, while still providing an easy contact point for you.
Here's the best process I've found to date to reach an estimate.

Steps for Pricing

    The Free Part:
  1. Contact me with a request. Though it is helpful, initial requests don't really need to provide much detail. Simply email me with your questions and potential work you'd like to have done(site/layout analysis, creation from scratch, redesign, etc.) If you already have a site, feel free to include an address to that as well.
  2. After some communication, I will provide an estimate. I've found budgeting concerns may affect the need for certain features. Therefore, I oftentimes have found it helpful to provide you with an interactive spreadsheet, allowing you to select different options and view different site and pricing scenarios.
  3. In this regard, the more specific you are, the more accurate pricing can be. Depending on specificity, your price will be on a per/hour or total contract basis.
  4. If you like what you see, simply agree to the terms and we get started!
    The Not-So-Free Part
  1. Once we agree on contract terms, I usually need a deposit to get started. This varies on situation, but typically is around 25% of the estimated contract.
  2. As work is underway, you will be updated as often as you like with time reports, changes, and test areas.
  3. Once the initial work is complete, we will reserve some time for any bugs that need fixing.
  4. Upon total completion, you will be provided with any desired documentation, and the source code for your site. Meaning you will have complete ownership of the design work, and any custom programming.

Again, if interested, feel free to contact me with any additional questions or requests and I'll be happy to help!
