Essentially "other design" includes anything else I do that doesn't quite fit in web design or application design.
Projects in this category are often more physically tangible as opposed to virtual.
Examples of this genre include, but of course are not limited to:
Object hacking (finding alternative uses, better methods, or enhanced, non intended functionality for everyday objects)
Inventing or replicating from scratch
Electronics
and photo manipulation
Whether for profit or for fun, I really love doing these non-mainstream projects. Regardless of the reason, I've found that these types projects not only serve as basis for entertainment and education, but also as good material for future reference and improved organizational skills.
